The Öhlins TTX46 MT shock absorber has played a major role in the success of GT, sports car, and touring car programs, often paired with the TTX40. This damper features a 46 mm solid piston with a 30 mm through-rod design, providing a rigid yet lightweight strut. To further enhance rigidity, the outer tube is constructed from a special aluminum alloy.

It is four-way adjustable, offering a wide range of settings without the need to remove the strut from the car. Naturally, it benefits from Öhlins' positive pressure build-up design. Like the TTX40, it also comes with access to the Valving Reference Program.

The TTX46 MkII is also available with a Blow-Off Kit, which includes a newly designed cylinder head prepared for the kit, a valve block, and a blow-off adjuster. This kit reduces peak loads, improves curb handling, and ultimately helps extend tire life while reducing the risk of punctures.

The TTX46 MkII damper can be modified to suit a wide variety of racing cars and supports a broad range of vehicle types and models. It is also offered in a two-way adjustable version for select applications, as well as an Advanced Track Day two-way adjustable version. When paired with the TTX36, it creates a highly capable track day setup.
