Ever since its introduction, this high-end racing damper has been a proven winner in top-level motorsport around the globe. The TTX40 twin-tube damper features a 40 mm solid piston and a through-rod shaft, eliminating the need for an external reservoir. The design is fully pressure-balanced, with consistent positive pressure throughout the adjustment range. This eliminates the risk of cavitation and allows for the use of low gas pressure, reducing internal friction. The top eye can be easily re-clocked without opening the damper. The TTX40 is a fully independent, four-way adjustable damper.
The MkII version also includes the Valve Reference Program — a computer model of a dyno that allows you to generate damping curves without the need for a physical dynamometer. It significantly reduces build time and enables precise damping adjustments right from the pit lane.
The TTX40 is also available with a Blow-Off Piston Kit, which helps reduce peak loads. This results in smoother curb handling, improved tire longevity, and a lower risk of punctures. The damper can be modified to suit most types of racing cars and supports a wide range of models and configurations. A two-way adjustable version of the TTX40 is also available for select applications.
