HISTORIC RALLY PORSCHE 911 (F & G SERIES)

The front damper is available in both non-adjustable and adjustable versions. The non-adjustable version features a 40 mm cylinder tube designed to fit into the original Porsche MacPherson Bilstein outer tube. It uses a 12 mm piston shaft and comes with a balanced setup developed for both tarmac and gravel use.

The front shock absorber cartridge features a 16 mm hollow piston shaft with an integrated valve and jet, externally adjustable. A single adjuster controls both compression and rebound via a bleed system, and also incorporates a temperature compensation system.

The rear shock absorber uses a 46 mm damping piston paired with a 16 mm piston shaft, with both compression and rebound adjustable through a single external adjuster. This unit also includes a temperature compensation system.

Both dampers are fully rebuildable and can be custom-tuned to specific requirements.

This Öhlins front and rear combination has already demonstrated top-level performance in various historic rally events. True to Öhlins tradition, the system is fully rebuildable and supports custom valving to match individual needs.

NOTE:

The front shock absorber cartridge is based on a 40 mm cylinder tube and is designed to fit into the original Porsche MacPherson outer tube, making it a suitable replacement for the original Bilstein cartridge.

Please ensure you check the inner diameter of your Porsche’s outer tube before installation.
