The STX 46 Street for the BMW R nine T (2014-2016) has a large, 46-mm main piston, an external gas reservoir, and a hydraulic preload adjuster.

 

This shock offers Adjustable rebound and compression damping, which allows you to change the shock’s behavior to suit your taste. The benefit of having an external reservoir is that the shock holds more oil, keeping it cooler in extreme conditions and providing additional adjustability.

 

A preload adjuster tool is also included that helps you adapt the preload to weight variations.
