Unleash the next level of racing performance with our latest innovation in front suspension – the RXC34 m.1 carbon fork. Equipped with our race proven floating axle design, the carbon RXC34 m.1 features a chassis with a stiff, yet lightweight carbon construction for precise steering and predictable performance. There is also a racing version of the carbon fork available that’s limited to 100 mm of travel, saving an additional 20 g of weight.
Like the aluminum version, the carbon RXC34 m.1 incorporates an all-new damper and updated air spring to further enhance speed and control on technical cross-country tracks.
OTX14 XC damper and updated two-chamber air spring
The RXC34 m.1 uses our new XC-optimized OTX14 damper. This slim, lightweight damper is packed with technology. Extensive efforts have been made to develop a low-friction seal design.
The new OTX14 damper is paired with an updated two-chamber air spring, featuring a large negative air chamber balanced with the damper’s characteristics in the three different ride modes – open, pedal, and lockout. This creates the initial movement required for superior traction while retaining best-in-class, predictable support when pushing hard.
The air spring has a large negative air chamber for increased sensitivity when seated and climbing. This can be fine-tuned with spacers in the piston rod at one of our MTB service centers.
Remote and manual options
The RXC34 m.1 is available with or without a remote connection. The remote version offers 3 ride modes and 16 clicks of rebound adjustment, while the manual version offers 3 ride modes, rebound, and 10 clicks of low-speed compression in the open mode.
For the remote connection version, we’ve developed a remote with a flexible solution where it is possible to add a dropper lever underneath the remote. It is also highly adjustable – it has three positions for the ride modes and adjusts the front and rear suspension at the same time.
Our remote connection is designed for 7.5 mm of wire pull per position. This means you can use the shock with remote levers from other top brands. And for those seeking even more versatility, our adapter – designed for 5.5 mm of wire pull per click – enables compatibility with the DT Swiss remotes used by Team BMC Racing.
Öhlins XC system
As part of the Öhlins XC suspension system, the RXC34 m.1 boasts a rider-friendly system to adjust air spring progressiveness and stroke. And with our race proven setting bank, you’ll be able to fine-tune the fork to your unique riding style and bike linkage.
Our new XC suspension products have been developed in parallel, with the front forks and rear shocks designed to match each other for an optimal balance on the front and rear of the bike. Whether you’re a seasoned pro, weekend warrior, or somewhere in between, the combination of the carbon RXC34 m.1 fork with one of our TXCAir shocks will give you a level of confidence-inspiring performance that’s equally at home on the Olympic stage and your local trails.
